John Henderson founded Spectrum Architecture in 1988 out of his deep passion for architecture and design. Since that time, the firm has become solely dedicated to the design of distinctive homes, ranging from contemporary, mid-century modern to traditional architecture. This boutique architectural firm has become highly acclaimed for its vast array of work throughout Orange and Los Angeles  Counties in such prestigious areas as Crystal Cove, Shady Canyon, Newport Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Yorba Linda, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and also internationally in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and as distant as Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Spectrum Architecture has earned a solid reputation as custom home architects for superb design, innovative architectural solutions, exceptional communication skills, and providing a highly enjoyable experience for our clients.

With architectural degrees from the University of Colorado and a Masters of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, John’s pursuit of great architecture has been relentless for over 30 years.  This Southern California native has earned a reputation for the highest quality design, creative and innovative solutions for custom homes, effective communication skills with both clients and contractors, all with a relaxed personal style.
